Cybersecurity Engineer
As a cybersecurity engineer you will work with developers, clients, and stakeholders to develop strategies for protecting critical information systems.
Overview
Cybersecurity engineers are some of our most integral team members. As a cybersecurity engineer, you will work with developers, clients, and stakeholders to develop strategies for protecting critical information systems. It is expected that you have a profound understanding of modern cybersecurity practices and methodologies, a comprehension of compliance frameworks, the ability to think of creative solutions to combat modern information threats, and a desire to help organizations reach and maintain cybersecurity compliance. Regular duties will include performing assessments of client information systems and security postures, identifying and performing remediation activities, helping collect evidence to show compliance, and compiling security documentation.
Position Requisites
CompTIA Security +. Bachelor's Degree in computer sciences, information technology, information security, or related field. Currently hold or be eligible for active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with any of the following- CMMC, NIST 800-53/171, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, and/or HIPAA.
